Following the success of our previous Better Blind events, we’re excited to present an Italian-focused blind tasting designed to sharpen your palate and deepen your appreciation for Italy’s legendary wine regions and styles.
Tasting blind removes labels and expectations, allowing you to focus purely on aroma, structure, balance, and flavor. Our good wine friend Ralph Vetsch (aka The Cellar Dweller) will guide you through the experience, sharing insight, conversation, and plenty of “aha” moments along the way.
During the evening, we’ll explore a thoughtfully curated lineup of Italian wines, including:
• Appassimento-style wines
• Chianti Classico
• Barbaresco
• Amarone
• Plus a few surprise pours along the way
The format follows our beloved Better Blind structure:
• Begin with white wine aperitivo
• Then enjoy five Italian red wines, poured and presented blind
• Taste, discuss, compare, and guess — with guidance from Ralph throughout
